The Gozo 1-2-3-4 race was held at the Gozo track on May 3, a hot and sunny day. The track layout was quite good but the track conditions were not very good; the track was very dusty (which made visibility for the drivers very difficult) and it was very slippery, too. Team Techlab was represented at this race with Jonathan Tonna, Noel Barun and Tony Sesiun all driving XRAY cars.

Jonathan Tonna was very fast in practice both with his XT8 and XB8EC, and he was the man to beat during the race. In the Truggy class Jonathan was very consistent, improving his results in each heat and so it was no surprise that he made it into the final . During the final Jonathon Tonna was extremely fast, showing awesome driving skills and the XRAY XT8 handled like no other. He started the final from the back row but thanks to the excellent flawless performance of the XT8 he gained positions and finished in 1st place. It was an awesome performance by the XT8; no other truggy was as fast and handled as well in such slippery conditions.

In Buggy class, Jonathon was also extremely fast and he performed very well, but due to an engine-related problem he could not capture the final.
